What a great place. We've stayed in the same room for the last 4 years. Magnificent views and a great time. Alexander Bay has great restaurants, and souvenirs are everywhere. There's plenty of river tours available and the fishing is incredible.
We didn't stay in the rooms, we went for the scuba park, which is amazing. Wether you hang out at the platform or go check out the car or boats, it's awesome.
We stayed at the marina - everything needed for boaters. Staff was friendly and helpful. Super busy gas dock but Parker handled it all with a smile. Had a very nice dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. Old school elegance, I feel that the restaurant is under appreciated. Bar staff and wait staff couldn’t have been better! Very attentive, pleasant, friendly and helpful. Our main waitress was Hannah who was such a pleasure! Shawn working the bar very knowledgeable about the local area, pleasant and friendly as well. Overall a great experience!
This establishment is in a great location with rooms facing the St. Lawrence River and Boldt Castle. The rooms, although dated, were very clean. The linens and towels were impeccable. The gal at the desk,Trudi,was very friendly and and super informative. She gave good directions around the motel grounds and the village. One thing I should point out is the balcony, which was only about 3 feet wide. True, the property could use some updates but all in all was pleasant.
Beautiful river views. Kind of outdated but very cost efficient in the off season we go here every year and always get a jacuzzi room. Staff is always amazing.
Amazing Venue! I love to DJ weddings at this location. Beautiful views of the water. Looking right over at Boldt Castle. Food is great every time. The staff is always nice to work with I never have a problem.
I fell the day before my reservation at Bonnie Castle and couldn't walk. I tried to cancel my reservation and get a refund because I was injured and couldn't go. They refused to give me a refund and said I agreed to a non-refundable reservation. No one ever mentioned that and I certainly never agreed to it. After dealing with the liers at Hotel Planner (where I was sent) I called the hotel directly, which is where I made my reservation, NOT at hotel planner, and was told I did not make my reservation directly with Bonnie Castle. I called Bonnie Castle to make my reservation and spoke to a young man at Bonnie Castle. I did not make a reservation at hotel planner. The young man said he needed my account number to hold the reservation. But after I hung up, they took $660.00 from my account immediately. Please don't give your money or business. They are not reputable.
Rooms were clean, bed comfortable, spacious, all you need in the room. The place is outdated, but still a great spot. few minute walk to uncle sam boat tour and the rest of the restaurants and shops. Front desk lady was very nice and helpful. Only thing was when we called, whoever answered was rude.
